Cedar is an excellent choice for fencing because it offers natural resistance to rot without treatment. It is considered the most attractive choice for wood fences, because it has consistent grain and colour.

We also offer two types of pressure treated fence, Cedar Tone and Treated Green. Pressure treated woods are chemically altered to resist rot and insect infestation. Treated Green is the most economical option. Cedar Tone offers the look of cedar, and the cost effectiveness of treated wood. Legislation brought in by the provincial government in January 2003 has eliminated the use of arsenic in the treatment process for pressure treated wood. The two main types of commercial wood fences are bumper fences and perimeter fences. Bumper fences are 2-4’ high fences used in parking lots to mark boundaries and to run electrical wires for vehicles to plug in. The perimeter fences we offer are 6-8’ high, and are used to surround residential subdivisions, condominiums, apartments and businesses. There are a number of different ways you can accessorize your fence to give your yard a unique, functional and beautiful look. There are endless options we can add to your fence to make it suit you.

We offer custom windows, which can be added to gates or along stretches of fence to make your fence flow with your landscape. Custom lattice can be applied to the top, middle or bottom of your fence. Diamonds, circles, triangles can be cut into the fence to make it more pleasing to the eye. Each picket can be cut a certain way, or each differently to make your own custom pattern.

We also have a large selection of gate hardware to choose from in all styles and colours. Whether you prefer thumb latches, butterfly hinges, strap hinges or self-closing gates we will install them for you.

 With endless styles of gates to choose from, R N M Fencing has the gate, which is right for you. A few of the styles we offer are Z-frame, arched, double swing and sliding gates. Z-frame gates are the simplest most cost effective gates and are available in all heights and styles of fences we build. Arched gates offer the sturdiness of Z-frame gates while adding an eye-catching style. Double swing gates are for larger openings for vehicles, come in widths up to 20 feet and are offered in many styles. Sliding gates are used for the same applications as double swing, and they offer more durability and ease of use.
